By accessing or using QuizNight.uk (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, venue owners, and quiz runners.

2. Who We Are

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Platform you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Post false, misleading, or inaccurate information about a venue, event, or quiz runner.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its systems.
• Scrape or harvest data from the Platform without prior written consent.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.

5. Venue and Event Listings

Venue owners and quiz runners are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings. QuizNight.uk does not verify the accuracy of listing content and accepts no liability for errors, omissions, or changes to venues and events listed on the Platform.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of QuizNight Ltd or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranty that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Platform at any time without notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuizNight Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you in respect of any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed £100.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or through a notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
